DESCRIPTION:Organizational Coordinator for our Nonprofit Organization\n  \nAre you passionate about making a positive impact in the world? Do you have experience in the various functions and activities of a nonprofit organization? If yes\, then we have an exciting opportunity for you!\nMiracle Travel Works’ mission is to assist families whose primary residence is in our covered Midwest states with travel expenses when they need to travel for treatment for seriously physically ill or injured children. There is no financial need requirement\, and the assistance can be applied for travel expenses to any necessary medical facility. The assistance can be used for the travel expenses of the child and also for the family members to travel with them.\nWe are looking for an Organizational Coordinator who can support our organization by assisting with our volunteers\, fundraising\, and communications. \nPosition Responsibilities: \nThe Organizational Coordinator will provide high-level organizing\, scheduling\, communications and administrative support to the Board of Directors. Due to the meetings and logistics the Organizational Coordinator will attend and support\, they should generally be available between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm EST or CST. The Organizational Coordinator works across the team as well as the key leadership groups like the Steering Committees and assists in fund-raising activities as required. This position is supervised by the Board of Directors. \nTo be a successful Organizational Coordinator\, you will need: \n\nA bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field or equivalent experience\nExperience in a business-related field or other leadership position\, experience leading and managing people and events.\nExcellent communication\, leadership and problem-solving skills\nBe self-motivated\, able to take ownership of projects\, without needing to be micromanaged\nA strong commitment to the mission and values of the organization\nA flexible and adaptable work style\nProficiency in using various online tools and platforms\n\nThis will be a remote position and will require the successful candidate to provide a quiet distraction free workspace to the extent possible. \nFor the full job description\, please see the Organizational Coordinator Job Description. \nFor instructions on how to apply\, please see the letter from the Board of Directors.
